Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00 (flexibility required for on-call rota)


Partnering once again with a long standing client, we are supporting their site expansion on one of their key facilities in Surrey, with the appointment of a brand new Maintenance Engineer / Site Engineer.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring plant and machinery operates at the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing manufacturing, laboratory and facilities areas with a genuine hands on, can do approach.

This role requires more than just a “fixer”. You need to a problem solver and want to dive into issues deeper to provide solutions. A hands on approach will be needed, as well as the ability to understand when and how to escalate.

What We’re Looking For

  • Apprentice-trained engineer or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of engineering experience within manufacturing – five years would be ideal.
  • GMP experience
  • Mechanical qualification preferred – multi-skilled or mechanical bias preferred
  • Ability to access the site with own transport due to on-call hours

Responsibilities:

l Drive the achievement of commercial objectives in collaboration with overseas

business partners, mainly in Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America.

l Oversee and manage relationships with international business partners, working

closely with the Business Development (BD) team and Marketing team to ensure

alignment and execution of joint strategies.

l Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, assess industry trends, and evaluate

competitive positioning to optimize regional market performance.

l Formulate and implement strategic plans to expand the overseas commercial team,

aligning with the company’s long-term international growth objectives.

l Build, lead, and manage a high-performing overseas commercial team, with a focus

on optimizing sales, marketing, and business development operations across regions.

l Provide leadership to ensure sustainable growth, innovation, and successful market

penetration in new territories.

Requirements:

Education:

l Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Medical, Pharmaceutic or a related field;

MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.

Experience:

l At least 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development within

the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.

l At least 10 years of overseas experience.

l 8+ years of demonstrated success in building and leading cross-functional,

international teams.

l A proven track record in managing and cultivating external business partnerships

PV Scientist level 1 - Operations Site Governance (6 months)

In this role you will be responsible for co-ordination and oversight of Individual Case Safety Report processes spanning across multiple sites ensuring they are completed on time and consistently. You will be responsible for co-ordinating between business partners vendor and PV Licensing to ensure that Roche are receiving Case Transmission Verification spreadsheets in a timely manner. You will perform regular review within this process to identify any gaps escalating issues and creating action plans in order to rectify. Additional work will include the distribution of ICSRs to other Marketing Authorization Holders and collaborating with other teams to manage MedDRA queries. You will responsible for contributing towards the metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in these ICSR sub-processes. You will be responsible for representing PDS Operations at functional and cross-functional forums providing subject matter expertise. In addition you will undertake additional projects as assigned in support of PD Safety Operations or PD Safety or other business goals.
