Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the planning, installation, commissioning, and qualification of automation and visualization systems for new equipment, including bioreactors, product isolation and purification systems, and utilities such as pharmaceutical water and compressed air systems, and production environments.
· Work closely with the engineering team and other departments to design and execute process engineering projects aimed at upgrading and expanding the site.
· Maintain and enhance the performance of our current automation and process control systems, primarily Siemens, through continuous analysis, optimization, and modernization efforts.
· Supervise and coordinate external service providers in the automation sector.
· Create, review, and approve planning documents, system components, and other technical documentation related to automation.
· Perform analysis and optimization of existing systems.
· Participate in on-call support as needed.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
· Technical training or a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field.
· Extensive experience and solid knowledge of automation and process control technology (e.g., PLC Simatic S5/S7, TIA, WinCC, PCS7, DeltaV) within a process engineering context, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
· Enthusiasm and expertise in delivering comprehensive technical solutions.
· Experience in the qualification of computer-based systems according to GAMP is advantageous.
· Ability to work independently, strong collaboration skills, and excellent communication abilities.
· Fluency in German is mandatory, with strong English proficiency is ideal.
· Flexibility, strong commitment, and a keen interest in innovative technology challenges.
