​Are you a visionary leader passionate about advancing cell therapy? Join our innovative and growing cell therapy company in San Diego as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). This is a unique opportunity to lead our clinical strategy and make a significant impact in the field of regenerative medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Strategy: Develop and implement clinical strategies aligned with our company's mission and goals. Guide the design and execution of clinical trials from Phase I through Phase III.

  • Medical Oversight: Provide medical oversight for all clinical programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and the highest standards of patient care and safety.

  • Regulatory Engagement: Lead interactions with regulatory authorities, including the FDA, to facilitate approvals and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams to drive the development and commercialization of our cell therapy products.

  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis and interpretation of clinical data, ensuring robust and accurate reporting of study results.

  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a champion for patients, ensuring that their needs and safety are at the forefront of all clinical development activities.

  • External Representation: Represent the company at medical conferences, scientific meetings, and in interactions with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree: MD or equivalent with board certification in a relevant specialty.

  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in clinical development, with a focus on cell therapy or regenerative medicine.

  • Leadership: Proven track record of leadership in a clinical development role, with experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and experience interacting with regulatory authorities.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively to external stakeholders.
