HPLC/GC Analyst – Sheffield
Location: Sheffield
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts - 3am, 6am, and 8am starts
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are recruiting for a leading laboratory in the Sheffield area, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to the healthcare sector. Role Overview: As an HPLC/GC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of analytical processes. You will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine testing, interpreting data, and ensuring compliance with GMP/ GLP standards. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible and can adapt to a rotating shift pattern, which includes early starts.
Shift Pattern:
1 week of 3am starts
2 weeks of 6am starts
1 week of 8am starts
Key Responsibilities:
Perform HPLC and GC analyses on a variety of samples, ensuring accurate and timely results.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, following SOPs and quality protocols.
Interpret analytical data, prepare reports, and communicate findings effectively.
Adhere to GMP/GLP standards, ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other team members to support laboratory operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in HPLC/ GC analysis, preferably within a GMP/ GLP environment. Experience from any sector (food, pharma, chemical) is welcomed.
Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Transport: Due to early shift times, having your own transport is highly desirable.
Flexibility: Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including early morning starts.
