Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our client's team. The successful candidate will partner with IT functions and business units, ensuring they receive optimum service and coordinated delivery. This role is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in evaluating new systems, collaborating with key stakeholders to test and assess these systems, and presenting findings to senior management.

Candidates must have experience working with potential software vendors, reviewing and evaluating third-party software, compiling reports, and presenting to senior management. Additionally, candidates should have exposure to Electronic Data Processing (EDP) software and be capable of working on PowerBI migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis of evaluation projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

• Lead the analysis of a EDP project, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

• Contribute to detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, and meet deliverables on time and within budget

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements, translating user needs into actionable project plans and deliverables.

• Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation

• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders involved in these projects, including internal teams, clients, and external partners.

• Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, priorities, and timelines.

• Develop and present analysis documentation to senior stakeholders.

• Review software solutions with a view to evaluate and deliver reports.

• Drive collaboration across business and IT, including offshore teams.

• Conduct full structured analysis and document impact and technical changes.

• Provide support throughout project implementation and solution adoption.

• Manage team sprint backlog and perform acceptance and system testing.

• Evaluate potential systems for their suitability and impact.

• Proven experience in working across multiple projects in a matrix systems environment.

• Skilled in coordinating and facilitating workshops with multiple stakeholders.

• Agile methodology experience with understanding of data governance frameworks and ITIL processes.
