Regional Territory Sales Manager-Western Germany

€80.000 - 100.000 fixed base + 30% commission + €10.000 car allowance

Lab Automation Instrumentation

Candidates can be based in any of the following: Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, or Saarland

We're looking for a highly pro-active Sales Professional with a strong Life Sciences Instrumentation sales background. Knowledge of any of these markets is a plus: lab automation/liquid handling/sample management/cryo-EM

You will be supported in the field by expertly trained Applications and Service professionals who are already supporting customers across Germany.

They excel in building trusted relationships with customers, delivering exceptional, personalised experiences for real-world lab challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and develop the market for liquid handling and sample management products in genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery.

  • Manage pre-sale activities and support post-sales.

  • Work independently and collaborate with Sales, Support, Product Management, and Marketing teams.

  • Schedule and conduct product presentations and demonstrations.

  • Achieve the following missions:

  • Present the company, its history, culture, strategy, and skills.

  • Manage the customer database and propose a global strategy with quantifiable objectives.

  • Organize work time according to priorities.

  • Implement company and market priorities.

  • Develop and follow up on opportunities, balancing different product lines.

  • Build consultative relationships and become a trusted advisor.

  • Position solutions in relation to end-user workflows and explain benefits.

  • Master products and services, proposing global solutions through cross-selling.

  • Maintain optimal application knowledge with support functions.

  • Manage CRM data.

What are we looking for?

  • Located in the Western region of Germany with an established network.

  • Experience in capital equipment sales in Life Sciences.

  • Background in Genomics or Protein Crystallography is a plus.

  • Excited by significant travel (up to 50%) and based near a convenient travel hub.

  • Familiar with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.

  • Proven success in business development.

  • Skilled in conducting presentations for varied audiences.

  • Autonomous, team player, and capable of working remotely.
