About the Role:

As an Analytical Team Leader, you will oversee a team of approximately 12 scientists, ranging from experienced professionals to technicians, focusing on routine testing. Your team will primarily use various separation methods, with a strong emphasis on HPLC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Schedule and coordinate the team's activities.

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot technical issues and provide coaching and development to team members.

• Problem Solving: Assist the team with technical problem solving and development, though you won't be required to perform hands-on analytical work.

• Office-Based Role: Primarily office-based with potential for one day of remote work after the probationary period.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Ideally MSc degree in a life sciences subject.

• Professional Experience: At least 5 years+ in an analytical or QC role within pharmaceutical science.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HPLC is essential; experience with CE is a plus.

• GMP Knowledge: Experience with GMP is essential.

• Leadership Skills: Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred.
