Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • You’ll travel to customer sites to install and set up state-of-the-art scientific instruments, ensuring they are ready to deliver accurate and reliable results.
  • Whether it’s diagnosing an issue remotely or providing on-site support, you’ll be the expert customers rely on to keep their equipment running smoothly.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and calibrations, ensuring that instruments are always operating at peak performance.
  • Empower users by providing in-depth training on the operation and maintenance of their instruments, making complex technology accessible and easy to use.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by participating in regular training sessions, keeping your skills sharp and up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.

 

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

  • You hold a degree in engineering or have relevant technical training, with a strong background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • You’re naturally inquisitive, with a knack for understanding and solving complex technical challenges.
  • You love getting your hands dirty, working with intricate machinery, and making things work.
  • You’re comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-experts, with professional proficiency in both German and English.
  • You’re ready to hit the road, with travel across Germany (and potentially beyond) as a key part of your role.
