Exclusively partnered with an international advanced pharmaceutical company, with sites across Europe, I am supporting the senior leadership team with a key hire that will further support the positive growth that the business has made over the past 12 months.

Taking group responsibilities for finance oversight across four countries, this role will take both a strategic and hands on approach in leading a small team. Working closely with the MD and Chief Financial Officer, you will have a big part to play in enabling the company to maximise and optimise its current processes and also consider new ways to move the approach to financial management forwards.

Leadership is a key part of the role. You will work closely with a small accounts and financial controlling team, providing confident management, along with a coaching and development style.

The role will ideally have someone within a commutable distance as office presence is required on a hybrid basis. However, if you are located further away, there would be an expectation to be onsite for one week per month.

Key experience:

• Experienced in financial leadership positions

• Pharmaceutical experience is a nice to have but is not essential – other industries would be considered

• An understanding of multi-site and multi-country financial management

• Previous leadership and management experience

• Experienced in SAP and Microsoft Excel

• Fluent in English – German is required but it does not need to be your native language as most business communication is in English
