Technical Solutions Architect

​My client have a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Technical Solutions Architect who will work in collaboration with business leaders to orchestrate technological strategies and capabilities with organisational visions and goals. This position entails overseeing and governing the architectural aspects of designing, constructing, and enhancing reusable, robust and accessible IT services and functionalities.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Contributing to the formulation and distribution of IT strategy in conjunction with the technology and the leadership team.

·         Participating in the establishment and maintenance of IT principles and standards to facilitate the implementation of new technology services.

·         Design and deploy roadmap for the IT services and infrastructure to support for organisation’s current and future technology requirements.

·         Engaging with key stakeholders and Business Analysts to define and assess Functional and Nonfunctional requirements, ensuring the suitability of IT services.

·         Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as FCA, PRA, TCF, and Data Protection/GDPR in relation to proposed systems, services, environments, or solutions, while adhering to relevant Best Practice recommendations.

·         Establishing a governance framework to ensure continuous alignment of technology with business and customer objectives.

Person Specification:

·         Excellent communication skills are essential for effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, emphasising collaboration.

·         Ideal candidates will possess certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.

·         Demonstrated experience in restructuring IT solutions for cloud-native platforms and translating user requirements into specifications and design criteria is essential. Additionally, proficiency in producing and maintaining IT Solution artifacts such as Design Documents, Standards Documents, or IT Architecture Principles is crucial.

·         Previous involvement in designing on-premises PBX call centre migrations or CRM systems is advantageous.

·         We seek individuals with a practical mindset, capable of bridging conceptual designs with practical delivery and scenarios.

·         Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential attributes.
