Employment Type: Part-time (2-3 days a week, flexible schedule)

The Company: A busy healthcare manufacturing site located in West London, dedicated to producing high-quality medicinal products.
Job Description: Currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join the team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the manufacturing processes, managing traffic and hazardous substances, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate measures are in place to mitigate risks.
Oversee the management of hazardous substances and ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal.
Manage traffic within the manufacturing site to ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety practices.
Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Liaise with external health and safety authorities and agencies as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Health and Safety role within a manufacturing setting.
Proven experience in managing traffic and hazardous substances.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
