Medical Content Director

​Are you an experienced content professional with a scientific background and a talent for creating engaging, compliant medical content? This role offers the chance to join a leading medical news and education platform, dedicated to delivering high-quality, relevant information to healthcare professionals. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and managing impactful content for a growing UK audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Medical Education and Business Development teams to respond to content briefs and create compelling proposals for industry partners

• Write news-style articles, features, and summaries for webinars, speaker tours, and events, ensuring ABPI compliance and alignment with brand style

• Identify and coordinate clinician experts for webinars, podcasts, and video content, including preparing scripts and managing communication

• Manage sponsored content projects, from brief to publication, ensuring high standards through proofreading and copy checking

• Develop copy for newsletters, EDMs, and promotional materials for live events and webinars

• Collaborate with sales, editorial, and production teams to ensure seamless project delivery

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor of Science degree, with proven experience developing content for healthcare professionals

• Strong writing skills with experience in news-style content or covering medical education events

• Knowledge of ABPI compliance and the Veeva approvals process

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• A proactive, flexible approach to time management and workload
